Nathan Bonarius, Director, PwC

Nathan is a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers with over 10 years experience specialising in superannuation and group life insurance

Nathan is actively involved in assisting superannuation industry clients with strategic advice, mergers, administration and outsourcing arrangements, financial advice, member outcomes and policy work.  Nathan is a qualified Actuary (FIAA) and holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Nathan has a passion for public policy and sits on the Actuaries Institute’s Public Policy Council Committee.  Nathan also undertook a six-month secondment to Department of Treasury, Canberra in 2018.


Bernadette D’Alessandro, Director – Banking and Regulatory Assurance , PwC

Bernadette is a director in our Financial Services Assurance practice.   Bernadette joined PwC US in November 2016 and spent two years in New York City, before joining our Australian practice in February 2019. 

Bernadette has more than 20 years experience across industry and professional practice.  More recently, Bernadette was the GM Audit Australia for a major Australian bank.  Bernadette has considerable global experience, across Europe, the US, South America and Asia.  Bernadette’s focus is on customer, conduct and risk and regulatory matters. 


Sean Hill, Partner, PwC

Sean is a senior partner with over 30 years experience in financial services. 

His roles have included the client lead partner as assurance provider and advisor to Australia’s largest superannuation funds including 10 of the top 20 funds.

Over the years Sean has been involved in various transformation projects, including risk management framework reviews, changes to operating models and remediation programs.

His work has included numerous APRA prudential standard reviews and other regulatory reviews.

He is a Registered Company Auditor and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
