Luke Hooper, Partner, Holding Redlich Lawyers

Luke specialises in superannuation and financial services law and has particular expertise in acting for large industry-based, government and corporate superannuation fund trustees and financial service providers in all legal and commercial matters affecting these entities.

Luke brings a wealth of experience from acting on a number of matters affecting superannuation funds including major superannuation investments, custody, administration, successor fund transfers and general commercial contracting. Luke also advises trustees on superannuation and financial services law compliance, and drafts and reviews internal trustee documents including governing rules and policies and all forms of disclosure documentation.

Luke also has expertise in acting for employers, including advising on superannuation guarantee obligations and defence of claims, as well as advising on the closure and conversion of corporate defined benefit plans and corporate plan successor fund transfers.

Luke regularly presents at ASFA’s Victorian Legislation Discussion Group.

Keith Rovers, Partner, MinterEllison

As a partner in MinterEllison’s Corporate & Capital Markets Group with a finance and projects background, Keith has valuable experience across the financial capital spectrum, acting for sponsors and funders in many industry sectors, including real estate, infrastructure and technology. Keith takes pride in my commercial acumen and solutions-oriented approach.

Keith’s commercial experience and interest in sustainability helps him work with corporates, not-for-profit and emerging social enterprise clients. Keith strives to create shared value, collaborating across the corporate, government, not-for-profit and education sectors working with others to develop innovative approaches to tackling social and environmental issues.

Keith leads the MinterEllison Pro Bono and Community Investments programs and in this role, he develops partnerships with clients who are seeking to amplify their social impact through engaging with charities and social enterprises, working on social business models, impact investment and social finance and developing cross sector collaboration.

Keith also advises a number of social enterprise clients on corporate and financial structures so that they can take advantage of capital and funding streams and corporate and government partnerships. Keith is on the ISO and Standard Australia’s Technical Working Groups for Green and Sustainable Finance. This engagement enables him to provide clients with up to date information about sustainable finance, local market and global trends.


Hanna Lee, Head of Investment Legal, Sunsuper

Hanna is a corporate and financial services lawyer with approx. 20 years’ experience, including over 4 years as a partner at a top tier international firm.  Hanna joined Sunsuper in 2014 and is the Head of the Investment Legal team advising on all investment related activities including investments in listed shares, fixed income and currency, private capital, infrastructure, property, alternative strategies and responsible investments.
