Darrell Ludowyke, Founder and CEO , Empirics

Darrell Ludowyke is the founder and CEO of Empirics, who partner with over 25 major super funds to help them get the utmost value from their data assets to achieve better member outcomes and greater operational efficiency. Darrell established Empirics in 2005 and the company has been a part of Link Group since 2012.  

Before starting Empirics, Darrell was the London based Global CRM Director for the world’s largest Direct Marketing company, driving the data strategy, business intelligence and marketing activity across 25 countries and 53 million customers.

Via having implemented sophisticated data and analytics solutions at over 25 super funds, on 6 administration platforms, covering well in excess of 10 million members,  Darrell is one of Australia’s foremost authorities on how super funds can effectively use data and data science to improve member outcomes, better service employers and derive full value from their data.

Jeff Wallens, Education & Training Consultant, AIST

Jeff commenced working with AIST as a Training Consultant in January 2019. He brings 20 years of financial services and superannuation experience to AIST, in roles ranging from customer service, member education, employer account management, and corporate super planning and advice.

Jeff currently holds a Diploma of Financial Planning.

His previous employers include Telstra Super, NAB Financial Planning, AON, Aviva and Health Super.
