Dave Cowan, Chief Information Security Officer, Link Group

Dave has 22 years’ experience in the IT/Security industry and has worked in Australia, New Zealand and the UK for leading international companies including NZ Joint Forces, Mace Group, Syntax Integration and Plan-Net Plc.

Dave joined Link Group in 2013 and is now the global Chief Information Security Officer and was instrumental in Link achieving ISO 27001 certification status in 2015 (the international standard for Information Security).

As Chief Information Security Officer, Dave provides strategic, tactical and operational leadership to protect Link Group’s as well as their client’s information assets and is focused on improving the overall Information Security posture. 

Both in Australia and overseas, Dave has worked across all aspects of the IT spectrum and has a detailed understanding of Information Governance, Information Security, Data/Cyber Security, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, Internal Audit, Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery Planning, Project Management, ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000, Strategy, Support Services and Service Delivery.


Vijay Krishnan, Head of Information and Cyber Security, UniSuper

Vijay leads UniSuper's Information Security including Security Operations, Security Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security Strategy, Architecture & Design, Identity & Access Management.  In his role, he leads a multi-year security program to reduce UniSuper security risk thus protecting UniSuper members.  Vijay has extensive experience in negotiating clear and concise security and technology outcomes in regulatory, policy and outsourcing agreements delivering value creation opportunities.  He has large, diverse national and international organisational experience with extensive executive and Board level exposure.

Previously he was leading Information security at Transurban accountable for IT and OT security including accountability for PCIDSS compliance.

Rob is an accomplished, forward-thinking senior technology executive with a strong track record in leading successful technology and digital transformations within diverse environments. He combines these skills with the ability to lead organizations through the changes necessary to be digital first, customer centric, security focused, agile and data driven.

Stephanie Lyons, Chief Risk Officer, EISS Super

Stephanie is the Chief Risk Officer of EISS Super and is accountable for oversight of EISS Super’s risk management framework and compliance management framework. Stephanie is responsible for ensuring that EISS Super’s risk and compliance program is effectively integrated into daily operational processes and for managing the reporting process to the Board, Risk Committee and Audit and Compliance Committee. Prior to joining EISS Super, Stephanie worked as an External Auditor in a large accounting firm specialising in superannuation, funds management, insurance and banking.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (German), is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of Harvard Business School (General Management Program).
