Adam Kibble, Investment Specialist, Insight Investment

Adam joined Insight in May 2017 as an investment specialist, responsible for Australian client portfolio support for Insight’s currency risk management, multi-asset and fixed income capabilities. Adam brings significant experience in portfolio management and product development, particularly in currency and fixed income. He spent almost 20 years at Macquarie Investment Management which included periods managing global fixed income portfolios, the lead portfolio manager for currency overlay programs from 2001 to 2007 and more recently as head of commodity funds. Adam started his investment management career at Queensland Investment Corporation as a currency and fixed income portfolio manager. Adam holds a BComm. in Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is also a CAIA charterholder.

Michael Zehfuss, Head of Client Management, Mesirow Financial (US)

Michael Zehfuss is a senior managing director and head of client management in Mesirow’s Currency Management group. His responsibilities include the oversight and development of the group’s institutional relationships worldwide and partnering with clients to provide strategic, customized currency solutions.

Michael has over 25 years of experience in investment management and investment banking including over a decade of experience partnering with Superannuation clients in Australia. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial, he served as managing director of corporate finance at Banc of America Securities and managing director at KM Management LLC, a private wealth management firm based in New York.

Michael earned an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management with majors in finance, marketing and strategy and a BS in financial management from Clemson University, graduating cum laude. He holds the FINRA Series 3 and 7 licenses.


Troy Rieck, Chief Investment Officer, LGIAsuper

Troy joined LGIAsuper, the super fund for local Government employees, their friends and families in the State of Queensland, as its Chief Investment Officer in September 2019. He is responsible for investment outcomes on behalf of the Fund’s 73,000 members and $13 billion. Prior to that, he was the Chief Investment Officer at Equipsuper, a multi-employer fund based in Melbourne, for a number of years.

Troy has also held senior investment positions at Suncorp Insurance, running the General Insurance portfolio, Suncorp Investment Management Limited, and the Investment Strategy team at QIC, where he built out the Capital Markets Division, including its currency overlay capabilities.

Troy holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons 1 Mathematics), Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from The University of Queensland, and is a graduate of the Securities Institute of Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Investment Management Consultants Association.
