As the nation’s voice for profit-to-member super, we lead the way in policy change, education and industry events.
Refunds of course fees, or transfer of enrolment to another course date, will only be made when written notification is received 7 working days prior to the course commencement date. No refund of course fees will be made when cancellations or alterations are received after this date. However, a transfer of registration to another person is permitted when the request is notified in writing prior to the course commencement date.
Students seeking a refund or transfer to another course date must submit their request in writing via training@aist.asn.au. The application must include the details and reason for the request. Students who have not provided their request in writing are not eligible for consideration.
A full refund will be provided upon written notice of cancellation five (5) business days prior to the webinar. Notices of cancellation received 0-4 business days prior to the webinar will not be provided a refund. If you are unable to attend the webinar, a recording will be provided to you after the webinar.
Where students are attending AIST's FNS50715 Diploma of Superannuation, in part or in full, the following Student Handbook and Policies and Procedures will apply.

Student policies and procedures
It is the responsibility of all students to familiarise themselves with, and adhere to, all relevant AIST Education policies and procedures.

Where students are attending AIST’s Trustee Director Course (TDC), in part or in full, the TDC Course Governance and Policies document supersedes the policies and procedure referred to above where there is duplication. View the document here
Early Bird Registration - All early bird registrations must be booked and paid for in full by no later than Friday 26 February 2021 to be eligible for a discounted rate. If payment is not received by this date, you will be charged the full price.
Standard Registration - All conference registrations must be booked and paid for in full by no later than Monday 19 April 2021.
Delegate Cancellation Policy - If you are no longer able to attend AIST's Conference of Major Superannuation Funds (CMSF), let us know at least 35 days* before the conference to receive a refund.
If you cancel in the 34 days* before CMSF, you will not receive any refund, but may transfer your registration to another person.
All cancellations and requests to transfer registrations must be received in writing. Please email change requests to info@aist.asn.au
COVID-19 Cancellation Policy - If you are unable to attend CMSF in 2021 due to COVID-19 as a result of government restrictions on either holding the event or travel (whether that restriction is based on your ability to leave your state of departure or an inability to enter South Australia), AIST will endeavour to make the event available to you online.
In these circumstances:
AIST CMSF Conference Cancellation Policy - Upon registering for the CMSF all delegates agree that if for any reason beyond AIST's reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, labour disputes, acts, regulations or orders of governmental authorities, civil disorder, disasters, acts of war, acts of nature (fires, floods, or emergency conditions) and/or any matters incidental or related to COVID-19 other than as described under 'COVID-19 Cancellation Policy' above AIST is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement, such non-performance is excused and AIST may terminate any agreement without further liability of any nature.
Insurance - AIST will not be held responsible for any claims regarding travel, accommodation or registration related costs, including but not limited to those related to COVID-19. Please obtain your own insurance if you have any concerns.

Delegate Cancellation Policy
Refunds of conference registration fees will only be made when written notification is received by Monday 10 August 2020. A cancellation fee of 30% of the total registration fee will apply. No refund of registration fees will be made when cancellations are received after this date; however a transfer of registration to another person is permitted.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Request to transfer a registration to another person must be notified in writing. Email changes to info@aist.asn.au
Delegate Transfer Policy
A $25 transfer administration fee will be charged each time transfers of registrations are made. The initial transfer is free, however subsequent transfers will have a $25 administration fee applied.

AIST ASI Conference Cancellation Policy
Upon registering for the AIST ASI Conference all delegates agree that if for any reason beyond AIST's reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, labour disputes, acts, regulations or orders of governmental authorities, civil disorder, disasters, acts of war, acts of nature (fires, floods, or emergency conditions), AIST is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement, such non-performance is excused and AIST may terminate any agreement without further liability of any nature.
Privacy policy
AIST understands the importance of protecting the privacy of individuals and is committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information collected.
This Policy applies to AIST who register people for events, courses, exhibitions, symposiums and who arrange travel and accommodation to those events. AIST is committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles.
Symposium delegates' names and organisation details will be published in the event booklet and delegates contact details will be available to our Industry Partners.
