The community has clear views on the need for Australians to have retirement income adequate for a dignified and financially secure retirement and the need for the system to be equitable. Australians also expect the system to have integrity and strong member protections. The AIST submission to the Retirement Income Review addresses these themes. It has been prepared following extensive discussion with our profit-to-member stakeholders, incorporating their deep understanding of their members and the retirement income system.
