Insurance Community of Interest

Planning for the next stage of the Insurance in Super Code

Working with the Code review Committee, the Code-owners are well underway revising the Insurance in Super Code in response to the PYS/PMIF legislation and some of the comments made by ASIC. 

This process will be finished shortly and we’ll be moving on the next, bigger stage of Code revision. 

This will include responding to all of the issues raised by ASIC – including those in the recent report on code implementation – and the anticipated requirements for industry codes to be binding and enforceable. 

The session will discuss all of these but will focus on the first stage code review.
