Debby Blakey was appointed HESTA CEO in early 2015. Before her appointment, she held positions at HESTA as Deputy CEO and Executive of the Member Advice Unit.

HESTA is a $53b profit-to-member industry super fund dedicated to the health and community services sector. As HESTA CEO, Debby is passionate about working to achieve the Fund’s mission: to make a real difference to the financial outcomes of every member, and a positive impact on the world they’ll retire into.

She has a wealth of experience in financial services, having held senior positions across the industry, and running her own business as an Employee Benefit Consultant for 12 years.

In addition to her role at HESTA, Debby also holds directorships at the Fund Executives Association Limited (FEAL), Industry Super Australia Ltd (ISA) and the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI).
