2:00pm - 4:15pm

Cyber attacks are a reality, with 63 per cent of data breaches in Australia the result of malicious or criminal attacks. At this invitation only event, Ashurst’s Risk Advisory and Legal Governance team and Link Group’s Information Security team will co-present a cyber breach simulation scenario and demonstrate how a ransomware attack could unfold at a super fund. The interactive simulation will allow attendees to reflect on how their fund would manage the same situation and ask questions of the experts.

Ashurst is a leading multinational law firm and a trusted adviser to corporates, financial institutions, and governments worldwide. Ashurst Risk Advisory works side by side with Ashurst's premium legal offering to deliver holistic cyber risk, data breach and crisis management support.

Link Group is a global, digitally enabled business connecting millions of people with their assets – safely, securely and responsibly. We take our role as a trusted custodian of critical data and industry leader in information security seriously as evidenced by having the largest ISO 27001 accreditation by scope and size of business in Australia and a NIST Cybersecurity Resilience Framework (CSF) maturity score which is well above the industry average.

3:00pm - 5:15pm

Have you ever peered at the project on a colleague’s screen and thought to yourself “That looks interesting… I wonder how they do it?” Perhaps hearing about another team’s work in a weekly WIP has prompted a great idea – but one that you don’t feel technically equipped enough to share?

NextGen Super Network’s “Developing CV Diversity” seminar is your chance to take that plunge and “side-skill”. You read that right – rather than “upskilling” in your area of practice, learn how to quickly build competencies in completely new areas of the superannuation sector.

Featuring a variety of experts from different fields ranging from governance, to technology, to investments, and communications, you’ll hear all about the courses, self-guided learning, and PD opportunities that can empower you to “have a go” at “that thing” you’ve always wanted to try!
