A 12-month initiative run by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST), the SuperGrads program is a rewarding experience designed to identify and develop individuals motivated by a purpose that transcends profits. Entrusted to grow and safeguard the retirement savings for millions of Australians, the $1.4 trillion profit-to-member sector includes industry, corporate and public-sector funds.
In providing an endless opportunity to grow, our SuperGrads are employed by superannuation funds, investment houses, banks or other entities in the profit-to-member sector. Our participating employers are looking for the next generation of industry leaders, and in the past have come from AustralianSuper, CareSuper, Cbus, Equip, First State Super, Frontier Advisors, HESTA, Local Government Super, ME Bank, IFM Investors and many more.
In providing the platform to make a difference, AIST’s SuperGrads program is not only looking for graduates with the right mix of skills and qualifications, but also individuals who are committed to upholding the values of working in the profit-to-member superannuation industry.
What our short video below featuring past SuperGrads and their experiences with the program.

On top of a competitive starting salary and other benefits, graduates are exposed to various learning opportunities, whether it’s on the job or through the SuperGrads program.

2018, ME Bank
From CEOs at the residentials to world class presenters at CMSF, everyone shared invaluable advice with us. I left the program with a new set of skills, a network of friends and contacts spread throughout the industry.
2018, EQUIP
The manner in which the program is run allows it to be challenging, stimulating and above all an authentic learning opportunity. I wouldn't have hoped for a better way to kick-off my professional career.
2018, Cbus
Learning about the history, structure and current issues facing the industry at residentials and industry conferences made me to feel connected to the culture of the industry, and the members we work for.
