Background
The Super Cadets Program was established in 2004 and relaunched
as Super Grads for 2012 to assist young people to develop a career
in the not-for-profit superannuation industry and to bring fresh
ideas and a new perspective to funds and related organisations
within the sector.
The not-for-profit superannuation sector manages the super for
two-thirds of Australia's workforce with $450 billion under
management.
The Super Grads Program is designed to fast-track the
development of the next generation of industry leaders and is
conjunction with the Australian Council of Trade Unions and
Industry Super Network.
Since inception, the Super Grads Program has helped to launch
the careers of over forty new employees in the not-for-profit
superannuation industry and in 2012, industry funds, public sector
funds and related organisations in the industry will welcome their
fourth group of graduates.
