SESSION 3: An update from APRA
APRA has recently advised the industry is looking at setting
standards for life insurance within super. Their new discussion
paper has been distributed and has detailed the prudential
standards for providing and maintaining life and disability
insurance within a fund. New prudential standards of this nature
will be a change for the industry in this already changing
landscape. Hear directly from APRA about this project and how the
industry and regulator may jointly work together to deliver
benefits to members.
