Overview

AIST formulates superannuation policy in consultation with its members and represents their collective view on key industry issues to government, the financial sector and the wider community.

The board's Policy Committee and AIST staff work closely together to provide representative funds and their people with the strongest possible support to improve the superannuation system and, thereby, the benefits the industry offers its members.

AIST Trustee Guide

We are proud to release the 2009 version of the AIST Trustee Guide, formerly known as "A Practical Handbook for Superannuation Practitioners". The AIST Trustee Guide can only be accessed by AIST members if you login with your AIST ID and Password. As the guide is a "live" document, it will be subject to updates when legislation changes.

Section G is all about Tax, and very important! Currently a full update is being completed, and as such we have decided not to release Section G in the initial release.

Inline with our environmental sustainability policy, we will not be providing a hardcopy of the guide to our members.
