Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation)

To obtain your Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation) you need to complete: 

  1. RG146 for the superannuation industry *
  2. Insurance for the superannuation industry
  3. Investment for the superannuation industry

RG 146 for the Superannuation industry | CPD: 24 hrs

To provide advice in superannuation, or in a financial planning context, you must meet the Australian Securities and Investments Commission's (ASIC) Tier 1 Compliance requirements. AIST's RG 146 course formally addresses the National Competency Standards, which are approved by ASIC as meeting Tier 1 compliance as defined in the Regulatory Guide 146. Insurance for the Superannuation industry | CPD: 24 hrs

Insurance for the superannuation industry is beneficial for people working in both the superannuation and insurance industries.  The course will assist students to better understand the structures, regulations and benefit designs of insurance products within superannuation.

Insurance for the superannuation industry is a diploma-level course that meets nationally recognised units of competency.  It may be completed as a standalone subject or combined with AIST's RG146 for the superannuation industry.
