What role do super funds have to play in Australia's underinsurance problem?.

We increasingly hear about Australia's underinsurance problem.  How can super funds assist with alleviating this problem?  This PD Seminar will examine this and more.

This presentation will include:

  1. An update on major events presently influencing the superannuation industry
  2. The extent of underinsurance in Australia
  3. Anti-selection and how it may restrict insurance offers
  4. Case studies showing different approaches in addressing underinsurance
  5. How will technology assist in reducing underinsurance?
  6. The latest on the Henry and Cooper reviews

Activities will be used to make the training interactive and reinforce learning.  A short quiz will be provided at the end of this session.

Who should attend?
The audience for AIST's Professional Development series are representatives of not-for-profit superannuation funds who provide general or nil advice to superannuation fund members.  The session will cover a range of superannuation topics.
