Registration Cancellation Policy

Should Global Dialogue participants need to cancel their registration for any reason, it may be transferred to another person up until 20 April 2012. Please note: transfers of registration must be received in writing.

If participants are unable to transfer to another person and wish to cancel their registration, a refund will be made (full conference fee less an administration charge of AUD $1,000) providing notification is received in writing by 20 April 2012. Following this date, no refunds will be made.

Accompanying Person's Registration Cancellation Policy

Should Accompanying Persons need to cancel their registration for any reason, a full refund will be provided up until 20 April 2012. Following this date, a 50% refund will be provided. Please note: registration cancellations must be received in writing.

Event Cancellation Policy

Upon registering for Global Dialogue 2012 all delegates agree that if for any reason beyond AIST's reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, labour disputes, acts, regulations or orders of governmental authorities, civil disorder, disasters, acts of war, acts of nature (fires, flood, or emergency conditions), AIST reserves the right to reschedule the Global Dialogue.

Furthermore, all delegates agree that if Global Dialogue is cancelled, for reasons beyond the control of AIST, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.

AIST Accommodation Policy

AIST agrees to provide accommodation for two (2) people per Global Dialogue participant (where a partner has been registered for the Accompanying Person's Program).

In the instance that your partner does not wish to be registered for the Accompanying Person's Program, accommodation for two (2) can be provided, however an additional breakfast at the conference venue will be charged to the delegate.

Additional accommodation requirements at the conference venue can be arranged by AIST at the delegate's own expense. If the venue is not able to accommodate your additional requirements, alternate arrangements are the responsibility of the participant.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation or amendment made after 20 April 2012, (amendment in terms of late arrival, early departure or no show) will result in 100% cancellation charge.

Any charges incurred for accommodation booking changes are the responsibility of the delegate. Where credit card details have not been provided to AIST, the delegate will be required to reimburse AIST for any incurred cancellation/no show fees.

Flight Cancellation Policy

Delegates are responsible for booking their own flights to and from the conference and are advised to view the airline cancellation policies prior to booking their fare. AIST takes no responsibility for flight change/cancellation fees incurred by the delegate.
