Women in Super

Women in Super (WIS) is a national network of women associated with the superannuation industry. Women in Super was established nationally in 1993 and has grown to an organisation with well over 1,000 members. Each participating State has a management committee representing each of the major sectors within the superannuation industry.

Women in Super has four prime objectives:

  • Voice the superannuation needs of women in the community and the industry to Government and politicians, those developing products and services to members of superannuation funds, to unions, employer organisations, trustees, the regulators and others of influence in the business community.
  • Provide education and training support to women in the industry and the community to increase their knowledge of superannuation.
  • Increase the number of women on trustee boards.
  • Provide women in the industry with an opportunity to develop broader business and personal networks.
