Mother's Day Classic

Without the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, the Mother's Day Classic would not exist.

In 1994, the Conference of Major Superannuation Funds (now Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees) established Women in Super, a national network of women working in the superannuation and finance industries.

Women in Super provides a forum for and to enhance the opportunities of working women, and through its work promoting charitable activities, the Mother's Day Classic was borne.

The Women in Super Mother's Day Classic is an annual fundraising event that has been held every Mother's Day since 1998, to raise awareness and research funding for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Since inception, the Mothers Day Classic has raised over $10.8 million for National Breast Cancer Research programs. Money raised by the Mother's Day Classic is the single biggest donation received by the NBCF, and Women in Super are the Foundations only Pink Diamond partner.

In addition to its pivotal role establishing both Women In Super and the Mother's Day Classic, Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (and formerly Conference of Major Superannuation Funds) has been a National Gold Sponsor of the event since 1998.

Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees is very proud of its continuing association with the Women In Super Mother's Day Classic and of all it has achieved since its inception.
