AIST Board of Directors

AIST Board Structure

AIST is governed by a representative board elected by the Membership. The composition of the Board is determined by the AIST Constitution, which has provision for 9 elected directors representing the two categories of AIST membership as follows:

  • Six Trustee Director Representatives elected by the directors Registered Funds nominate as AIST members;
  • Three Trustee Staff Representatives elected by the employees Registered Funds nominated as AIST members;

Board Members

AIST directors are elected for two-year terms with half the directors retiring each year to provide for a reasonable level of board continuity from one year to the next.
